For a double gameweek, a score of 72 is nothing short of terrible. Yet, somehow I have found myself inside the top 50 in the world for the first time. I can only think this is because people in the upper echelons are falling away due to not having any transfers left.

Overall it was a very bizarre double gameweek with the main fantasy teams and players toiling. A surprise benching for Sigurdsson, meant my planned Fabregas > Sigurdsson move was put on hold. Typically, Sigurdsson got an assist off the bench and now looks a good bet for the weekend. Fabregas though, continues to churn out the points and is not such a bad option himself. I’ll likely stick with the Spaniard for at least another week.
That meant that Dann > Alderweirald was my only trade this week. Despite Tottenham continuing there 1 goal a game policy, Alderweireld is a fire and forget option and looks a good bet until the end of the season. That said, I do need my Spurs assets to start firing again, as they brought home a meagre 8 points between them over a combined 6 matches.
Some big scores this week as Martin Felton (OCHEESE), came in with 119. I suspect this is a january league team as his total points tally is 512. Nevertheless, its still an impressive score. Elsewhere Paul McAnulty (Housewives Favourite), came in with an impressive 88 and is now hot on my heals and only 22 points adrift of the summit.
