After a great season, my team looks set to have a limp finish. Last week surmised my recent poor decisions as I opted for Sturridge over a certain mercurial frenchman as captain. This cost me 11 crucial points and saw my rank slip 4 places. With one last role of the dice, I’m looking forward to seeing the season out.

No transfers left and no captaincy strategy to think about, there isn’t really a whole lot to talk about this week. With Robles and Sturridge almost certainly set to miss out, I just hope the rest of my squad starts.
Final captain decision
With quite a bit of money on the line, I won’t be taking any risks with my final captaincy decision. Aguero is currently top of the list.
Sky Fantasy Football Forum League
Its been a highly competitive league. Paul McAnulty has been gradually gaining ground on me in recent weeks, I hope I can hold him off for the last set of fixtures. This week there were some big scores from Niall Murphy (81), Garry McAuley (78) and Ian Parrin (76), who are making a late march up the rankings.
Blog updates
Thanks to you, the blog has been way more successful than I could have envisaged, with over 16,000 hits. I’ll do a final season review after the weekend and that will probably be it for the season. I plan to continue to make posts next season, but I can’t make any promises.
The facebook group has also been a success with over 40 members. This includes at least 3 managers above me and the world number 1, who looks set to be walking away with a cool £20,000+, congratulations Alan! Next season, I’ll run a money league and we can have a go at winning the league of league’s prize (£5,000). If we had everyone together from just the facebook group in one money league, we would have easily won it this year.

Guaranteed to have my best ever season but would like to finish inside the top 50 (currently 52nd). After last week I’m 4th in Disable’s money league. So tight behind me though. Just want to hold onto 4th spot!
Currently undecided on who to captain out of Aguero or Sanchez. I’ve a feeling it’ll be a last minute decision.

Thanks again. My first year in the sky game and I needed all the help I could get. I have to say that Alan won the game by a mile. I’ve never seen someone do so well, he’s been ahead for ages and by so far, congratulations to him.

Cheers Hrunny. Sky is so different to fpl that it takes a while to get used to the strategy and captaincy switches, so you have adapted v well by the looks of it and had a great first season.
Alan has been unbelievable, so far ahead of the rest… It usually comes down to the final day but he hasn’t had anyone near him for most of the season!

Sanchez or Aguero in for me and will be captain. First time I’ve played seriously and have learned a lot for next year, especially from the site. I’m hopefully going to just be in profit in the mini leagues…
